Illumination:

  • Chamber is illuminated using fluorescent tube light to produce visible light (measure in lux). A UV light of wavelength 365nm (measured in watt/sq. meter) is fitted on topside of chamber.

Control system:

  • Temperature controller with Micro Processor Based Digital Temp. Controller.

Humidity system:

  • Humidity is by steam injection and is directly displayed in % RH measured by capacitance type Electronic Humidity Sensor.

Cooling system:

  • CFC free, the cooling system consists of hermetically sealed compressor coupled with evaporation coil and condenser, safe guarded by time delay circuit. Refrigerant 134A Door switch to switch off the UV light when door is opened.

Safety:

  • A safety thermostat to switch off tube lights if temperature overshoots. Door switch to switch off the UV light when door is opened. The unit works on 230 volts AC AND 50 Hz mains supply.
