‘PHYSILAB’ make Repulsion motor is a single phase motor which has stator winding arranged for connection to source of power and Armature winding connected to commutator and brushes on commutator are short circuited. Brushes are so placed that the magnetic axis of Rotor winding is inclined to magnetic characteristic to change the Direction. Repulsion motor is continuously rated, screen protected, self ventilated machine in E/B class Insulation and confirms to IS4722.
